Hi! I’m Malia,

Hi! I’m a 15-year-old singer and songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina. I’ve loved singing for as long as I can remember. When I was three, I was already singing along to Disney movies and my dad’s guitar.

I love performing and trying new things, even when it feels a little scary. Music has taken me to new places, helped me meet new people, and pushed me to grow. Over the past few years, I’ve learned to play guitar, drums, bass, and ukulele—and I’ve been writing my own songs too.

My music is inspired by a mix of pop, rock, and country. Artists like Adele inspire me with strong vocals and real emotion. Turnstile reminds me to be creative and stay true to myself. And Cyndi Lauper shows me how to bring energy and personality into every song. I believe you can learn something from every artist you hear.

I’ve written around 80 songs in my bedroom, and now I’m excited to share them with you. I’ve been lucky to work with some amazing musicians and producers who helped bring these songs to life, and I’m so thankful for all the time and care they gave.
